Community~Togetherness~Cause

For a few years now, we have hosted a fundraiser that we have come to fall in love with, and right now, our community needs togetherness more than ever. Due to circumstances out of their control, our amazing partners with MUDD Volleyball have had to make the very difficult decision to cancel their involvement with it. We are beyond grateful for our years together. We value that partnership, we have learned so much from them, and we’ll be working with them in the future.

That said, we have decided to carry this tradition on. No, you won’t see anything different with it. There’s still going to be the MUDD everyone loves to come compete in; we’ll still have food trucks and vendors! The only small change you’ll see is that it will now be the Blue Moon Bar & Grill putting it on and hosting it for our community. MUDD Volleyball at the Moon will forever remain a fundraiser within our community, for our community! Keep an eye out for the announcement of the new recipient, please be patient during the recipient selection as this just happened 8/21/2026, we have narrowed it down to 3 possibilities. We should have a recipient selected and announced by August 28.

With announcements you will be seeing soon, we feel the need to share some facts and be very transparent about how the process works with MUDD Volleyball in our backlot (Our announcement was released 8/21/2026). We have historically only used a few thousand gallons of water. Luckily, with our location next to the river in the beautiful community of Radium Springs, we’re lucky: the backlot is only

3 ft. over the water gates. When we use the water for this fundraiser and the teams leave at the end of the day, the water slowly goes directly back into the water gates, giving it back to our community.

Now, we’re no strangers to events, but we have less than a month to get all our balls in a row. We know everyone has been looking forward to this year’s MUDD Volleyball Fundraiser, and it’s an honor to continue it. We just ask for a little patience as we get the ball rolling! ♥️ Don’t worry, we’re quick learners and fast on our feet!

Team Registration

We know as this comes as a shock to all of us, you may have a million questions, we're here to answer all of them and make this transition as easy as possible.

If you have already registered with BBBS, they will be processing your refund. Please contact Blue Moon Bar & Grill as quickly as possible, we will put your team on the registration list right away to secure your spot. We will wait for your teams refund has been returned before taking your teams payment, but we will need your team captain to contact the bar ASAP so we can help with that.
Please note if you are registering your team for the first time in this years MUDD Volleyball Tournament, your team will NOT be registered until the team registration form and payment have been received.
Team Packet. We PREFER to have waivers signed in the packet at the same time but with the recent changes to the event, we will accept waiver signatures up until, September 17. The DEADLINE FOR ALL WAIVER signatures is SEPTEMBER 17.
All Mudd Volleyball participants must have Co-ed teams of up to 12. At least 8 players should be on the court at all times; both genders must be represented on the court, with a minimum of 2 females on the court are required. All players must be 18 years or older to play. Please note that all volleyball will be played in the mudd. Each team is guaranteed 3 matches, weather permitting. Games are subject to rally scoring. The winners of the pool play will advance to a single elimination tournament. The top team in the tournament will win prizes.
A MANDATORY Team Captain meeting September 17. At this meeting you will receive the start time for your team. You must be at the event 30 minutes prior to your game start and on your court 10 minutes prior to all games.
